PopCap to bring titles to Android in Europe

PopCap’s announced it’s to bring a couple of its titles to Android in Europe as part of a global agreement with Sony Ericsson.

The deal will see its games – such as trials of Plants vs Zombies and Peggle, as well as the full version of Chuzzle – pre-loaded on Sony Ericsson devices, such as the Xperia mini and mini pro respectively.

“We are delighted to partner with Sony Ericsson to fulfill our promise to Android users and bring PopCap’s hit mobile games to an ever-widening base of smartphone users,” said PopCap’s senior director of global product and business strategy for mobile, Giordano Bruno Contestabile.
