Sony to livestream E3 conference via PS Blog
For the first time, Sony will livestream its E3 press conference directly to the US PS Blog.

Although Sony has broadcast its presser in the past, it has rarely done so in a form capable of supporting the one million viewers it’s “shooting for” on this occasion.
The US PS Blog will also play host to ongoing streamed content from the PlayStation booth on the show floor.
Live demos, developer interviews and even live chat Q&A sessions will occur throughout the show.
E3 runs from June 7 to June 9. Sony’s press conference kicks off the major pre-conference events at 5:00 PM PST, June 6.
A full reveal of the NGP is expected, along with showings from Uncharted 3, Resistance 3, and possible Rockstar’s Agent, among much more.
Thanks, Gama_888.

Some people are so gullible, damn.
The press conference will be an hour and a half. The showing of the booths, Q&A etc will add to that. No different to every other year then. It’s clearly done this way this year to suck up to the fans of PS for what’s happened recently.
That said, every year I get more excited about sonys corner then anyothers because of that single “what if” reveal of The Last Gaurdian. SCE has so much more to loss this E3 so they best bring out a barrage of surprises to win back the hearts of many many gamers again.

The mini-booth and live demo streams sounds pretty neat. I love watching IGN and GameSpot’s live stage demos and now there is one more.

I heard that it won’t be 5 hours long, but 90 minutes of conference + the rest for playing the games.

I hope they will have enough bandwidth than the other site who “live stream” these events.
Yes, I’m looking at you GameTrailers and GameSpot.
