PSP password change firmware update due soon

Sony has announced an upcoming firmware update for PSP, assisting users to update their PlayStation Network password from the portable's XMB.

Announced on the PS Blog, firmware 6.39 will include a guided password change process.

Although the password change feature is the major selling point, some stability issues will also be rectified.

Sony has given to ETA but expect them to move fast - following the April PSN hacks, all users are required to update their passwords in order to use PSN services, which have been partially restored.
