War in the North trailer describes knocking off heads, severing limbs
Snowblind has released a new trailer for Lord of the Rings: War in the North, and in it theĀ developmentĀ team talks about the violence inherit in war.
“Where you strike the enemy, is where he severs. if you hit his leg, that leg flies off and he writhes in pain on the ground,” said game designer Zach Peterson. “If you hit an enemy in the head, that head is gone. That is a homerun hit.”
It’s not all about violence though, the developers also talks about the balance of melee and ranged tactics in the game, so it’s more than just turning orcs into mincemeat.

The Lord of the Rings: War in the North ships for PC, 360 and PS3 on later this year.

Glad that it is at least M-Rated, and you get all the real Gore that would be in a game like this, and no imaginary “confetti” popping out…LOL
