New Brink trailer shows classes, pre-order bonuses detailed

Bethesda’s just put out a brand new Brink trailer, showing off the shooter’s class system, while also detailing the game’s pre-order bonuses.

Said the firm: “The Brink digital pre-order bonuses are now available in the UK. Extend your customisation options even further with the exclusive DOOM, Fallout, Psycho and Spec Ops packs. Each contains unique apparel, tattoos, weapons and weapon attachments for your in-game character.

“These pre-order bonuses will be offered exclusively through participating retailers in the coming weeks.”

Brink is slated for release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC in North America on May 17, 2011 and across Europe on May 20, 2011.

For what i read on other sites the single player is the multiplayer also, so the exp. points, weapons, loadout, etc you get on both can be use on each one, therefore the stuff you get playing solo, will be available in multiplayer and vice versa, also in co-op, so both are intertwine.

Game looks dumbed down, enough with the trailers already, release a demo or shut up, looking more forward to borderlands 2 now.

Looks good, I have high hopes in this. Still, no demo, no beta I’m afraid of a buggy release :/

Don’t waste your money on a multiplayer shooter if you don’t want a multiplayer shooter.

Splash Damage is obviously a multiplayer shooter developer, and based on what they’ve said, the “singleplayer portion” consists of playing through the same maps with the same objectives, only against bots.

It looks to me like it’s going to be a far more streamlined evolution on the Quake Wars’ concept with tighter maps, better balance, and an ultimate ammount of customization.

@10 Really, if you buy a game that has multiplayer written all over it as much as Brink does, without even looking at what you’re buying, then you don’t get to whine afterwards.

let’s see how these guys design the Disguise feature.

i wonder if they would design it better than GG’s Killzone 3 trash.
i won’t be surpised.

Such a bunch of noobs.
This is the true ET heir, and I’ll play the shit out of it.

Spec-Ops pack for me, I just don’t want to spend 49,99 euros to get it from Steam, though.

It does seem really cool but I need a demo first to confirm any purchase intentions =s

i’m just not enough of a multiplayer kind of gamer tbh =/
I really dont like the multiplayer for halo, gears and call of duty but i really like battlefield and day of defeat, maybe i’m more objective-type inclined or something O_o

@22 This game doesn’t enter any of the categories you mentioned.

It encompasses them all, save for the obvious lack of vehicles.

^^ Indeed. I haven’t seen anyone do objective based multiplayer better than Splash Damage.

Quake Wars had an awful style, but the mission-oriented gameplay was pretty awesome.

@23 – all the more reason i need a demo lol

Its only one stealth-enabled sniper away from having exactly the same classes, with exactly the same abilites as… Another recently released game.
