Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver to get PSN release

Tuesday, 1st March 2011 19:57 GMT By Debabrata Nath

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, the classic third-person adventure game staring vampire soul-sucker Raziel, will be releasing on the EU PSN tomorrow as a PSone classic.

Originally released in 1999, Soul Reaver is the second installment in the Legacy of Kain series, and puts you in the shoes of Raziel as he goes on a quest to seek revenge against Kain, his former boss.

The Crystal Dynamics-developed game is a true classic, and featured innovative ideas like entering the spirit world to capture and torment souls.

The re-release is to cost £7.99 or €9.99, and will be playable on both PS3 and PSP.

Thanks, Eurogamer.

Goddammit VG247 / Debabrata Nath. Seeing the Legacy of Kain almost made me die of happiness, thinking the name game has been announced at GDC.

^yup – I loved the original series but could never go back. HD sequel though – that would be delicious. Raziel is still in my top 5 gaming protagonists of all time.
