Red Faction:Armageddon hitting US May 31, UK June 3

THQ and Volition announced today a solid release date for Red Faction:Armageddon.

The title will see a release on May 31 in the US and June 3 in the UK on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Red Faction: Armageddon stars destruction expert Darius Mason, who you play as. In the game you can cause environmental destruction, collapse huge Martian structures on enemies, and rebuild what you destroy with the Nano-Forge repair ability.

"Red Faction: Armageddon is an incredible new entry in this vaunted franchise, and Volition once again pushes the envelope of technology and science fiction," said THQ's Danny Bilson in the press release. "Come May 31, players can look forward to collapsing entire buildings on their enemies, using the world as their weapon."
