- EA CEO John Riccitiello reckons he commands the best core portfolio in games. He gave a wide-ranging address to the Goldman Sachs Technology and Internet Conference in San Francisco yesterday.
- BAFTA's announced nominations for this year’s game awards, with Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood the leader with seven. The show takes place on March 16.
- A meeting in New Zealand on potentially reversing Australia’s refusal to allow an 18+ rating for games won't achieve anything thanks to the absence of one attorney-general. The next meeting's expected in June.
- Amnesia: The Dark Descent is to be published at retail by THQ in the US.
- The PC version of Duke Nukem Forever will require a Steam account for play, whether or not it's purchased as a download.
