Killzone 3 reviews round-up – Guerrilla fails to break 90% MC

I’m beginning to think sony_sucks and back_up are the same person.

Ah fk it, uve pissed me off. Seriously ERTHA, if u didn’t feel immersed/enjoyed kz2, u are the biggest idiot/ piece of crap to grace this earth. Same goes for everyone else. Stop comparing the graphics of kz3 to other shooters, like crysis 2! KZ3 is said by a few to the the best looking shooter/console game all around. I don’t care about photo realism, immersion and art style is more important! which is where crysis 1 and 2 will fail. By the way ive already seen foto realism in killzone 3, compare the snow levels of crysis1/kz3 gameplay footage. Anyone can take bad looking images of games. I can find some crysis shots showing weird textures and foliage from certain areas of the game! Oh and bulletstorm looking better than kz3?? LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

So i played the beta for 5hrs last night. Fucking amazing. So much fun.
I havent played a beta for that long before….and actually i wouldnt play any multiplayer game on the same map for longer than an hour so thats saying something.
I was head shotting peeps left and right.
The controls are so much improved. Everything still feels weighty but is way more responsive so it feels great. Definitely a big improvement over KZ2. Graphics are great and this is just a BETA.

So i took my Non-gaming friend girl and my gaming girl friend and did a comparison at seperate times.
I found the best looking frame i could find in Halo Reach and just selected a random frame in Killzone3.
I switched back and forth between the 2 on the same TV and asked which they thought looked better.
The girl who wasnt a gamer said “The one with the weird looking guys with RED eyes and gas mask looking thing looks way better”
Then i asked my gaming girlfriend (who happens to be a big Halo fan, loves Master Chief and Cortana) which one she thought looked better. “Killzone 3….Fuck you man hahaha”

I don’t like games like Halo where you can turn the aiming sensitivity to the max & move incredibly unrealistically, such robotic motions ;\

I agree with the robotic thing…but Halo still is fun…just nothing special about it tho.

Yeah, I used to like Halo, but I got sick of Reach around the time when they introduced their 1st map pack, harassing me every time i start the game to get the new dlc ;\
I played the new maps & they were crap, The next Halo game I’ll ever purchase would be when I get the Xbox’s successor but if Sony releases the PS4 within a 6 month radius of the Xbox ’720′, I’ll hold out for Sony’s console.

I stopped playing Reach about 3weeks after owning it. I pick it up still now and then though.

Same here…i’m getting older, busier, my family is getting bigger making my responsibilities bigger…can only get one console next time around and it will be PS4 (although i didnt like PS2 and im in no way a Sony fan, I don’t own anything sony except PS3 and eventually NGP) i just really love my PS3 enough to say that PS4 would be my best option.

I just saw the review for the game on GT.com and i enjoyed the review and i think that Metacritic should have given the game more for more than one reason but just simply one of them is that enemies don’t absorb alot of bullets and second is that controls feels much better this time.

This game looks like ps3 experience of the year!
