id’s first new IP in 15 years will launch on September 13 in the US and September 16 in Europe.

I can barely remember what I had for lunch. :-D

Edit: Ooh, launching the same day as LA Noire seems a bit counter-productive. Alan Wake says hi.

Actually it’s a sort of 3 way thing between the witcher 2, brink and la noire.

LA NOIRE (god it feels stupid that a typo ended up being a game’s name) will probably have the most advertising being rockstar published, Brink could but who knows how Zenimax/Bethesda will work with this published game and the witcher 2 has plenty of steam coverage thanks to the sales and gog coverage too.

It seems that since Brink is steamworks, probably the best thing to do is wait for a sale (unless you’re buying it for the console). LA NOIRE is console only and the witcher seems to have developed quite a fanbase.
One of them will suffer and new ips are usually the ones. It’s a strange repeat of blur, split-second and modnation which were all out in may.
