Confirmed: F.E.A.R. 3 delayed into May from March
Warner’s confirmed to VG247 that F.E.A.R. 3 has been delayed into May from its previous release date of March.
The Day 1 horror shooter was due to release on March 22 and March 25 in the US and UK respectively, but that won’t be happening.
A forum post mentioned the delay on a F.E.A.R. community site, but second confirmation came from Warner.
“The F.E.A.R. 3 launch date will now be in May 2011, as we look to deliver the best possible game for our fans,” a rep told us.
F3 sees Paxton and Point Man on different sides, with creepy child mum Alma back in play.
Horror specialists John Carpenter and Steve Niles are also involved on the project.

not surprised but then again dont care. Hopefully the failure of this game reinvents the franchise or kills it
Shame first game was properly awesome. Also best ending explosion i’ve ever seen in a game.

bang on the money there, this game was originally supposed to be released around about november last year, it was pushed back to avoid black ops, now its being pushed back to avoid another fps – crysis. i bet this game is finished, gone gold and sitting in storage somewhere while WB wait for the ‘right time to strike’. this makes me think its going to be crap, what their doing is avoiding the competition…

Really I don’t know why you guys don’t take more information from GameFly because they have had the May 24th date up there for months now…basically when it was said it was going to release in March, a few days later GF already had the delayed date on it…
