Call of Duty: Black Ops’ first map pack, titled First Strike, will release on February 1.

The content will include four new standard multiplayer maps – Berlin Wall, Discovery, Stadium and Kowloon – as well as a new zombie map in Ascension.

“We’re committed to supporting Call of Duty: Black Ops fans with continuous updates to the game and exciting new content that will keep our community engaged,” said Treyarch boss Mark Lamia.

The content will arrive on Xbox Live first, as part of a three-year deal between Activision and Microsoft announced at E3 last June.

Treyarch released three map packs for World at War, while just two shipped for Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare 2.

    @ Freedom
I actually finished it on hardened and I really thought it to be much much better than MW2 SP.
On line is pretty good as well and the guns are way more realistic than MW2 imo.
I have been beaten to the kill so many times because of my
    unsteady hand. :)

On the PS3 version this game is almost unplayable. But it has a lot of potential. Some kinks need to be sorted out but it feels that the game doesnt have the same atmosphere that MW2 had. idk maybe its just me but I’v read some similar comments on other sites.
