First Black Ops map pack launching on February 1

black ops DLC

Call of Duty: Black Ops' first map pack, titled First Strike, will release on February 1.

The content will include four new standard multiplayer maps - Berlin Wall, Discovery, Stadium and Kowloon - as well as a new zombie map in Ascension.

"We're committed to supporting Call of Duty: Black Ops fans with continuous updates to the game and exciting new content that will keep our community engaged," said Treyarch boss Mark Lamia.

The content will arrive on Xbox Live first, as part of a three-year deal between Activision and Microsoft announced at E3 last June.

Treyarch released three map packs for World at War, while just two shipped for Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare 2.
