UK charts: Black Ops keeps top slot

Black Ops has held on to its top spot in the UK chart, despite the release of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.

Good to see NFS: Hot Pursuit and Donkey Kong in the top 10.

Never mind the fact that the *only* reason why this happened in regards to Cataclysm’s sales, is because the majority of sales were digital. This was because a ton of folks wanted to be there at hour one, minute one as soon as the servers went live.

Actually that is kinda sad about NFS when you look at the fact that the GAME group actually were selling the title for under £25 till they ran out of stock on the LEs and it’s an Multiplatform title.

GT5 could go lower next week as they’re awaiting stock on two online retailers amazon and shopto (where it’s been selling really well and being the cheaper price people preferred that).

@7 More people play Black Ops than play WoW, and possibly a lot of the WoW players bought their game digitally like me, in which case the sale wouldn’t be noted locally.

Where does it go if you buy in Europe? France?
