Mass Effect 2 PS3 gets January release date

Sorry, Microsoft. Apparently the Xbox isn’t commander Shepard’s favorite platform on the Citadel after all.
Speaking with IGN, EA pegged Mass Effect 2′s PS3 iteration with a January 21 release date for Europe and a January 18 date for the US.
The original Mass Effect, sadly, won’t be rounding out the package, but an interactive digital comic recapping the events of the first entry in BioWare’s space epic will take its place. In addition, you’ll have immediate access to all Mass Effect 2 DLC aside from Zaeed and Firewalker, which will be waiting for you on the Cerberus Network.
So then, better late than never? We’d say so.

God Q1 is utterly rammed with new games. Off the top of my head there’s:
Dead Space 2
Killzone 3
Bullet Storm
Crysis 2
Mass Effect 2
Little Big Planet 2
I mean most of those are chasing a similar market, the publishers can hardly cry when they get lower than expected full price sales.

@8, I dunno man, it looks more like it’s packed with sequels to old games.
