Seriously? A red herring?

BioWare's latest binary code teaser ahead of its next project being revealed at the Spike VGAs this weekend has shown a red herring.

Just so you know, in case you don't, a red herring doesn't actually exist. According to this, it is:

"something intended to divert attention from the real problem or matter at hand; a misleading clue."

Mass Effect 3? Mass Effect multiplayer spin-off? Time to go back the drawing board, probably.

The VGAs take place this Saturday.
