Looks like Rovio may be planning an update to Angry Birds fit for St. Valentine himself.

According to the rumor mine over on Pocket Gamer, the next update is planned in February, and popping hearts “will earn you extra points per level” – kind of like pumpkins with the Halloween update.

A new bird is also planned, but details on all of this are unclear at present.

Whatever is planned, folks will eat it up like previous offerings.

Angry Birds Christmas update Seasons, is now available on the App Store.
