Sony has announced a category is being added to PSN in Japan called the Western Game Buyer Selection, which will include games released on PSN in the US and UK.

The new category will include games for both PS3 and PSP, and the first of three games will land on the service tomorrow.

The first offerings Japanese gamers will be able to enjoy are: Castle Crashers and Comet Crash for PS3 and Young Thor for PSP. The games will cost ¥1,500 ($18), ¥1,000 ($12) and ¥500 ($6), respectively.

More titles are expected to land on the service in the future.
