Demo for Arcania: Gothic 4 hitting PC on September 24

JoWood has announced it’s to offer up a demo for Arcania: Gothic 4 come September 24 on PC.
The demo consists of the tutorial level, as well as the first two hours of the full game.
In it, players will be able to complete quests on Feshyr Island and kill some demon creatures.
Developer Spellbound first announced Gothic 4 back in 2007, and the game was recently given an October 12 release date for PC and Xbox 360, while PS3 will see a Q2 2011 release.
Hopefully, there will be no more delays this time around.
Thanks, BigDownload.

I feel this great franchise will be dead in the 4th installment.
Need to try the demo, i hope everything will be at least fine.

@2 Because developers can’t make the port for it’s release or it will be shoddy again.
Jowood is a small developer.

@4 they should make it for ps3 and port it to 360 developers/publishers who do that make the games better on ps3

good. This way we can try for ourselves how much “Gothic” lies in “Arcania”.

@5 If they will make a Ps3 version and will port from Ps3 to 360 it’s going to be much more pain in the ass, expensive and more time, because Xbox 360 have a classic multicore processor + you also need to port it to PC that is also using classic multicore processor.
yeah and i mean Spellbound. They are small.

Technically ittrolls is correct. CELL is marketed as a single core, dual thread processor with 7 SPU’s which arent traditional multifunction processor cores.
Erzatool is also correct as the 360 has 3 traditional dual threaded cores, so from a processor perspective it is closer to PC architecture.
Also, do you seriously think this low profile game would be deemed worthy of a purchased exclusivity period from MS? Your tinfoil hat might be on a bit tight.

@14 no i don’t have a tinfoil hat lol very funny you know microsoft has done that with many games dumping tons of cash to keep it exclusive or “timed exclusive” it wouldn’t surprise me
