Sega registers “Valkyria3.jp” URL
The second one is only releasing in the west next week for PSP, but Sega’s ramping up for Valkyria Chronicles III, by the looks of it.
The publisher has registered the URL “valkyria3.jp”, which seems to suggest a third game in the series is coming.
As Andriasang points out, this could be Sega protecting its interests and just safeguarding the URL before someone else gets it.
We do hope it is a sequel, though. Hopefully on PS3 again. TGS reveal, please?
Valkyria Chronicles II releases on PSP next Tuesday in the US, with a EU launch next Friday.

It has to be on PS3 this time right?
The PSP will be 100% obsolete come the release of the 3DS.
Well, at least to me it will; it’s already flat-lining now.

Actually i can see it being a 3DS game, personally id rather it go multi format so 360 version as well.

If this generation has proven anything it’s that publishers don’t need to release the first part on one console in order to put the sequel on another (see ME2 and DR2).

How did the PSP version do in Japan compared to the PSP original?
Edit: Answering my own question – a bit worse. 240k(ish) for the first game, 170k(ish) for the PSP sequel.
