PC Fable III delayed, announcement of new date coming “soon”

Tuesday, 3rd August 2010 05:55 GMT By Nathan Grayson

When Microsoft proudly proclaimed that Fable III on PC was launching day-and-date with its console counterpart, did you think the whole thing just sounded too good to be true?

Then congratulations! You were right. That thunking sound? Yes, that’s your victory. You’ll find it to be quite hollow.

“The console and PC versions are now on different schedules as we’re focusing on building experiences optimized for each platform,” Microsoft said in a statement to IGN.

“We aren’t announcing a ship date for the PC SKU at this time, but expect news soon.”

See all those PC gamers over there, Microsoft? They have little red frowny faces over their heads, and they think your sock puppets are just ridiculous. Win back their affections by farting.

What I like about loki is the thoughtful and varied viewpoints he brings to VG247.

too bad, i was considering getting the pc version, now MS can go fuck themself, i already have enough problems with getting my 360 to work, yet M$ continues to prioritise the 360 over pc, they kinda just killed the last shred of respect i had for them, then again, atleast they have a pc version coming… at some point in the far, far future

It would be better if they cancel it. B’coz it would be ashame for 360 AAA titles to lose with Starcraft 2 sales number.
