Warhammer 40K: Space Marine announced for PC

THQ’s announced that Warhammer 40K: Space Marine will be coming to PC, as well as PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The title, a third-person action shooter RPG thingy, was announced in May last year for just PS3 and 360 at the time.

Relic boss Jonathan Dowdeswell said: “The loyal PC audience is incredibly important to us here at Relic so we are delighted to be able to announce the PC version of the game.”

THQ’s Travis Plane added: Delivering great content the fans want to play is the key goal in the core games division at THQ so we are pulling out all of the stops to make this the best possible game for PC and console audiences alike.”

Shots were released for it during E3.

This is not a Gears killer, it is in it’s own setting. More like Action RPG with FPS stuff.

Gears feels too generic, this is based on a moderately popular universe of Warhammer 40000, so i expect this to do well, but not to the extent of Gears of war, which tbh, i got bored with & put the controller down within 30mins, even tho it was my 1st 360 game & looked brilliant next to my ps2 games, i could not care less for gears, nothing engages u into the story & everything else fealt @ best-meh

@4 i played uncharted2 and thought it was very overated its a 8.5 for me it has a very clunky cover system.still a good game though.

@9 And how difficulty makes a better game?

Person enjoy a game on the difficulty he likes to enjoy.
I play most of my time on normal difficulty (hard difficulties on the replay and if i like a game a LOT or if game have absolutely something different in Hardest difficulty except of low HP.)

The shots are actually pretty old if I’m not mistaken, and the game being developed by Relic, which has so far created mostly PC games, I think it makes sense that this one is developed for PC as well.
