Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition announced

sfIII

Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono announced last night Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online in in development.

Ono was speaking during his panel at ComicCon, although the only details given were that it won’t be out for a while.

This wasn’t the real megaton that Ono promised, though: Street Fighter x Tekken was also announced for PS3 and 360 at the same panel.

Release for that is a fair way out, however.

Thanks, IGN.

Seriously, this and Street Fighter x Tekken are some of the best announcements in ages!

How is Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online a follow up to the Turbo Hyper Fighting version of Street Fighter II? O.o

*confused*

Still, great news. This game deserves some hardcore online community play.
