Dead Rising 2: Case Zero gets plot details

Capcom's detailed the back-story behind Dead Rising 2 prequel, Case Zero.

The taster, an Xbox Live exclusive, shows main character Chuck Greene trying to save his daughter after she gets a zombie bite.

Chuck has to inject her every 12 hours with a vaccine called Zombrex, but his car, which contains the medicine, gets stolen. The pair of them need to escape a gas station in the suburbs within 12 hours.

No date was mentioned, but producer Keiji Inafune confirmed at a Japanese press event that it'll be out a month before the release of the main game.

Dead Rising 2 itself releases in October for PS3, 360 and PC.
