Michael Jackson: The Experience detailed at London event

Ubisoft’s announced its Michael Jackson game will be known as Michael Jackson: The Experience when it releases in November with motion control capabilities.
The Xbox 360 version will project a 3D image of the player on screen, and along with the microphone, Kinect allows you to become a singing and dancing sensation in your living room totally hands-free.
Microphones can be used with the PS3 version, with the singing and Move’s dancing portions separate.
The Wii version will be on par with Just Dance. which used WMP.
DS and PSP use tap-on rhythm gameplay, with Eurogamer comparing the DS version to Ouendan because the player taps “numbered circles in sequence and drawing between them”.
Michael Jackson: The Experience was announced during Ubi’s E3 event, and VG247 has a chance to speak with Ubisoft’s brand manager about the game after the presser.

All of a sudden i can’t say i will NOT buy Kinect (right away). This is starting to sound real nice, although..a 3D image of yourself? Why not show the King of pop himself there?

The DS version sounds the most intersting.
My four year old will love it. He loves Jacko and Ouendan.
Day one purchase I think.

I reckon this game will shift over 1m units before Christmas on XBOX alone. If MS market this well to capture the “older” demographic, nostalgia alone will sell this, even if it turns out to be shit.
Who didnt grow up and dance like Michael Jackson at some point? Now you can in HD in your own living room.
This is what will sell Kinect, not whether ot not you have to stand up/sit down to use it.

I am not too keen on these music/dance games though. I never played a guitar hero or rock band,it simply ain’t my thing. But i am a hardcore MJ fan and to see something like this happening is just awesome. I might get it, we’ll see

The amount of interest this seems to be generating is… somewhat disturbing.
