First half-hour for Alpha Protocol put live

Someone on YouTube’s only gone and posted up the first half-hour of Alpha Protocol on 360. Swish.

Spoilers, obviously.

It show main character Michael Thorton trying to escape from a holding cell, just as he wakes up from being drugged. Basically, the training wheels come off.

Alpha Protocol releases in the UK tomorrow for PS3, PC and 360, with a US release on Tuesday. In case you’re wondering why there’s been no reviews as of yet, embargo for it is 2pm tomorrow.

Played a few missions in Alpha Protocol yesterday (playing as I write, in fact), and the game is OK. I was a bit disappointed at first, but it’s getting better I never got the Achievement for completing Basic Training I have no idea way…

I don’t know how much stock I hold in this review, but it appears well written and confirms that it is in fact a massive disappointment. Shame.

i knew it wouldn’t sent the world on fire, but that score is lower then i was expecting, perhaps he’s just a harsh reviewer and it’ll average out around a 7/10

I’ve got the preview code lying around, and it’s not impressive, actually quite disappointing. But for some reason I still wanna keep playing it.

It’s a very poor game. Feels like it would have been ok a few years ago but the graphics are really dated and it plays badly. Everything feels so… clunky… for want of a better word.
