Lost Planet 2 awards player for not selling game

I believe its called “Honeymoon Period” in English. Unless its a different trophy, they didnt add it, its already in the game from release.

well i sold it. disappointed by it…had high hopes because i loved lost planet. the coop and the stupid ai if you play it alone really ruined it for me…on the other hand there is a chance that i might pick it up again when it gets cheaper. the mp is still fun…i´m not a trophy whore but i like trophies – achievements…

Erm… wouldn’t Capcom just wait 6 months from now before activating the achievment? That way you would have to wait at least 6 months before trading in, or buy a second hand version.

It’s a shame that the quality of the game and this achievement are mutually exclusive.

@5 maybe so, but I prefer something like this as a purchase incentive, instead of tearing out piecing of the game to sell later on as DLC.

i wont be selling my burnt copy any time soon so i will get this when i get round to playing it again,so many games have come out at once,its gonna take time to plough through them all.bring on the pirate shit,i dont give a fuck,i got sick of MS ripping me off so im a modder and glad of it.

Same. I traded it in ages ago.. Demo was great but once you play the full game you see how shallow the whole thing really is. shame really.

@ 7: Um… I’m unsure how ripping off developers – the very people you worked hard to make the games you enjoy – is sticking it to Microsoft?

Also, exactly how are Microsoft ripping you off? Last time I checked, gaming was a luxury – not a necessity.

I can see what he is saying… “Ripping off” by selling games that no way in hell are worth the $65 you drop. It gets old being lied to (advertising/hype machine) just to find out the game sucks a huge nard…. latest HUGE dissapointment that isnt’ worth the money, Lost Planet Two. Maybe if the game industry gives your 24 hrs return policy it would curb this attitude. But that could seriously hurt the sloppy developers. oh well.. fuck em… they need to EARN my money not be entitled to it just because you have to pay before you play.

Oh, one more thing… Renting them first is not the solution either especially since many games are coming out with content that only the first buyer gets.

I have no problem with people pirating games as long as they still buy the occasional game that is actually worth the money.

**FYI for some of you… I haven’t pirated a game since 2009, but that’s a different story.

@11 What a big boy you are! I haven’t pirated a game since 1985 and see no point in changing that attitude. A 24h return policy would be like going to the shopkeeper and claiming your money back, cause the apple tasted funny. For shitty games there are reviews to “spot” them.
Or, do as I do and wait for the games to drop under 20€ or rather invest the 50€ in premium titles only.
Thats called the power of controlling the market with your wallet. Piracy is never an answer!

You also missed the point of what I said… Used games & rented games will not fix the problem of people feeling this way. Waiting for reviews is also not the answer because often they come out after game releases. Also, your analogy by using food is ridiculous, games aren’t food and food can poison a person. I honestly can’t think of a reason why a 24hr return wouldn’t work. Sure you will have a FEW people that abuse the policy, much like every policy. Very few people will run home and beat a game in the first 24 hrs. And just for your information Mr. Condescending, Several stores including EBX, Gamestop,and Babbages USED to have such a return policy, but your probably a child and don’t remember.

I’m not saying piracy is the answer to anything, just that I understand the frustration of people and why they do it.

Interesting note – gamestop in my area(maybe everywhere) now has a 7 day return policy with used games :/

I can get a REFUND on ANYTHING , BUT AN OPEN GAME.
I can get a Full Refund on a meal that I hate, I can get a Full refund on a Movie that was Terrible in the Theater, I can open up a Laptop, Computer or any other Electronic even an Xbox 360, and GET A FULL REFUND as long as I return it with-in 7 Days. Heck I have taken open movies and music back to Walmart and just complained about it not being what it represented on the DVD or CD and got a Full Refund on a Gift Card…The only thing I can’t get a Refund on is a Game that is Terrible. Remember just because someone at IGN or NEXT says its a bad game, you really don’t know till you try it yourself….Having someone put a score on a game is like trying to explain what Chicken taste like or describe the Color Red…we each have different perceptions…

What we need is a 24 Hour Return policy on a bad game! Oh I have gotten FULL refunds on Clothes, Socks, Shoes and Even Underwear..YUCK, but they gave it…Told them the Underwear was marked LG when they clearly were not, they taped the bag back up and put it on the shelf..YUCK…Thank God I am Clean and keep myself well groomed down there or someone might have found some curly cues they didn’t want…ROFL

By the way if you want to shave your Peaches and Coin Purse, and deforest yourself down there, but don’t want in-grown hair I have had good luck with the Phillips Body Groomer, with no Guard.

Wow, that would mean u have to wait 6 months before you got ur plat trophy….as much of a trophy whore as I am, thats a real turn off…..even though I dont think I can stand through much more of the MP….way unbalanced. Also another notch under my why I hate hidden trophies belt
