Lost Planet series, Resident Evil Code: Veronica X added to Xbox One backward compatibility

Five new titles have been added to the Xbox One backward compatibility library.

Capcom's Lost Planet series and Resident Evil Code: Veronica X are now available through the Xbox One backward compatible library.

It appears both the original 2006 offering, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, and the 2008 Colonies Edition - which is basically the gold version - are on offer.

Lost Planet 2 and Lost Planet 3 are both available as well.

The only Lost Planet game not available through the service is spin-off title E.X. Troopers. Considering it was a Japan-only release for Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation 3, that's understandable. It was worth pointing out though in case you were curious.

You can also grab Resident Evil Code: Veronica X, which is the remastered version of the original 2000 Dreamcast title, released in September 2011 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The Xbox One backward compatibility library has grown to around 580 titles since its launch in 2015. It expanded further in 2017 when original Xbox titles were added to the service.
