Science: The probability of snow terrains turning up in sequels or expansions is 100 times higher than that in a new IP’s first installment.

Um… not being funny, but isn’t it fair to say that this doesn’t look as good as id’s Rage or Crytek’s Cysis 2? It all looks a little flat :/

Just saying…

Oh, and just for you fanboys: yes, this does look nicer than Halo: Reach. Happy now?

It looks flat probably since these pictures are 5120px × 2880px… which is kinda unnecessary, though maybe someone would love to print it.

I think Halo’s art style distracts from its visual appeal, but it’s not like they can change it without massive outcry.

I’m not so sure about Crysis 2, the in-game shots we’ve seen on console didn’t look that great:

Rage shots have been the best, but I’m not sure what platform they are showing them on (Could be PC for all I know).

Those Killzone shots look very good, but Killzone 2 looked better in motion and I imagine it will be the same for Killzone 3.

This is fucking bad, i understand why they need 3D for Killzone 3.

Because you cant’t enable 3D if your game is not running 60 frames per second. Thats why it looks ok…

@5 Rage shots are from PC. If you refer to those that was not long ago. There are AA and High res textures.
