CoD: Black Ops trailer analysis reveals 1961 date, CIA docs, more

IGN’s shredded yesterday’s excellent Call of Duty: Black Ops trailer, dropping heaps of new information on the Treyarch shooter.
There’s stuff about space in there, and some bits including moustaches. There’s a hint at an incendiary shotgun and a pretty clear shot of a South Vietnamese flag in a combat sequence. Guess any doubt about at least one location’s put to rest, then.
There’s plenty more. Have a watch below. Some new shots here too, if you fancy them.
The game’s out worldwide for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii and PC on November 9.

I don’t know if it’s been mentioned before, but the guy with the red scarf that has been in a few of the videos is a Kit Carson scout (politicially reprogrammed Viet Cong working for the US) so there’s no doubt it would have to be during the war, or a guy in that outfit wouldn’t make sense.
Doesn’t say anything about how far it might skip ahead, obviously, but we’re definitely going to Vietnam before the party ends.
