Crysis 2 gets killer gameplay shots

crysis 22

EA’s released two new gameplay shots of Crysis 2. Get them after the break.

Not many shots released, but they do show the game’s HUD for the first time. Either way, it’s looking smack-bang awesome.

We sent Joe to a EA showcase in London yesterday, and came away with an interview with producer of the Crytek shooter Nathan Camarillo. Get that here.

Crysis 2 releases on PS3, 360 and PC this winter.

    They’re hardly that amazing imo.

Show us some gameplay footage then we can decide…

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkf1CENA9uE just look here. Even Uncharted 2 whines for textures. What you see here is everything in the game and i hope they won’t screw second installment.

Well, it looks a darn sight better than anything using UE3 – I wonder from what platform these shots were taken?

Looking forward to the inevitable Rage/Crysis 2 screenshot comparisons!

Soooo… ppl @ VG247, you just saw the game in motion…
are these shots something like the X360 version you just saw, or it’s from the PC version with an infinite ammount of AA?

@9 These screenshots are not a PC version for 1000%
Or if they are. then someone made a shots on the rig that can enable Low-Medium settings at best.

From these shots it looks like almost any multiplat game but more… colorful?

I think it looks a bit better than most multiplat games, but below say, Uncharted 2. I like the extra colour too, it drives me mad having grey games all the time.

    More Smoke and mirrors…
This game is just advertisement for their engine.
No solid game play to support the game.

Screenshots never do a game justice, that has been clear for a long while now but this still doesn’t look too impressive no. We’ll see.

The first Crysis was really great to me.
No solid game play? I don’t think so.
but these screenshots are not very impressive. Looking good but not that great…
