First UK Demon’s Souls trailer released

Gamespot has published the first trailer for the forthcoming UK version of Demon’s Souls.
The “unforgiving” RPG has, of course, been available both in Japan and the US since last year, and has been met with praise from both journalists and public alike.
Demon’s Souls is set for release in the UK on June 26, and will be available in a special Black Phantom Edition which includes an artbook, strategy guide and soundtrack for £37.99.
You can catch the new trailer here.

More to the point, everyone I know who wanted it already imported it. Still has strong word of mouth and the buzz around it though.
Still pretty short sighted to put out a UK trailer though, it’s the internet age dudes, we already know about the game. We can read american internets!!!

Nothing official has been said like, but it has sold about 300% above their highest predictions, so it’d be kinda silly to not follow it up.

Again another good looking game I wont be buying,
What is it with PS3 I mean as far as exclusives go its not really catering for the shooter fans.
UC KZ2 RFOM and nothing else really.
I want FPS games Sony so please start doing more for my type of game.
I mean they sell well so why not.

don’t buy this game!
Spike the publisher by not buying this game!
Next time they will know they should release this game early for other regions too!
Blazblue was released 2009 for US and Jap, now released April 2010 for UK. No one plays the game online, and server online is farking laggy!
Same with this game, who the hell will be playing this game in JUNE? everyone will be playing better titles, online sever will suck as well!
Don’t forget Hokuto Musou that’s coming out in UK 2010 and no plans for US. Soon they will say it’s coming out for US.
Don’t buy late release games for region, cuz publishers just take a p*ss out of gamers

Publishers is certainly the appropriate term in this case, xino, given that the game is going to be released in Asia, the US and Europe under three completely different ones.
If you want to rally people against a cause, at least have the decency to do a bit of research first.

Dont you think your going at this all in the wrong way, if you buy it more profit = they will realise selling it in that region is one hell of a good idea = they will release it at the same time
If you dont buy it = they will think no point selling any games in that region because its money gone down the drain
THINK ABOUT IT

It’s idiots like you that stops these games from getting released worldwide in the first place.
From Software weren’t expected this to be that big, so they weren’t going to put money into converting it for every reason. It’s a simple issue of cost versus return.
Since the game sold so well, and due to the amount of demand for this title amongst the gamer-base, other publishers picked up the title and agreed to sell it overseas. This is a win-win situation for developers and publishers alike.
People buying this when it is released in Europe will in fact help ensure that any future sequel is likely to reach us sooner rather than later, because the publishers and developers will be aware that the demand is there.
If you haven’t bought this on import yet (I have), do yourself a favour when this comes out and BUY THIS GAME!
