Direct2Drive is offering those who pre-order Splinter Cell: Conviction digitally the original Splinter Cell game for free.

The original Splinter Cell goes for $9.95 on the site, but you can get it free along with the new title for $59.95.

D2D is also offering a Digital Deluxe version for $64.95 that includes all the above along with an Infiltration gameplay mode, in-game Shadow Armor and three extra weapons.

PC specs were revealed today, a demo is out tomorrow, and it hits stores on April 13 and 16 in the US and the UK, respectively.

I’d have to apologise but respectfully decline this game. Nothing against D2D as they’ve been a great service, but the ludicrous DRM on ALL Ubisoft games now turns my stomach. I refuse to buy anything from them until they come to their senses.
