PS Move: B-roll movie and shots goes live, more titles announced

Move

The EU PS Blog has upped the European b-roll movie of the newly-announced PlayStation Move, as well as dropping a ton of Move game screens and lifestyle shots.

As well as that, a couple of more titles have been announced for it, including stuff like TV Superstars, Slider and The Shoot.

TV Superstars does exactly what it says on the tin: become a superstar as you appear on up to five TV shows.

Slider, meanwhile, is a kung-fu game, but with a twist: it all happens on an office chair.

Finally, The Shoot is a title which sees you involved with a western movie shoot, where you must take out the bad guys and impress the director while you’re at it.

After months of speculation, Move was finally announced as the official moniker for the PS3 Motion Controller tonight in San Francisco.

It’s due for release this fall.

Catch everything that happened from the event here, with a list of titles supporting it – old and new – here.

Naturally I read the 4th paragraph as

‘it’s due to release this fail’

why the hell didn’t they just put an orb on the second controller?! Freeking MORONS! Now we have to buy two sets of controllers to get the sword and shield. AND when we play sword and shield there’s no way to move around!! Man they really screwed the pooch. Makes me so mad!

This is really lame. Really, really lame. Casual gamers wont care and core gamers will care even less. At $100, it’s as lame an idea as the PSP Go. The SOCOM 4 video was a bit embarrassing.

@5. It’s not lame. I’m a core gamer and am bang up for it. The price is fine for me. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. Simple.

This reminds me of this white thing with two white pieces of accessories.. Can’t remember it’s name, but I usually go “weeeeh!”, when I use it.

I’m sold on this with the thought of playing EA Sports offerings alone. TW11 – awesome, EA Tennis – awesome, Fight Night 5 – would be awesome, certainly better than a Wii version. Thats 3 potential quality games suited to the controller if EA were to do it. Dont see why they wouldnt.

Well it definitely has alot more potential for sports games and the like then the Wii.
The fact that a whole physical object in your hand is being traced in 3D no matter how you hold it rather then just a light at the end of the wiimote which becomes hidden as soon as its no longer pointed at the screen letting accelerometers and gyroscopes take over will make pretend holding a racket, club and sword alot better.

wow I wasn’t that excited about Nattal but this……….i care even less about. I dont want a control with a stupid light on the end of it Sony can stick their light sphere up their ass

Does it make a buzzing sound when swinging it? I feel the force.

@ Dannybuoy

Cause playing with a Wii rip-off that looks like a glowing sex toy and costs a $100 is that much cooler, right? Fucking retarded!
