Castlevania: Lords of Shadow gets new moody shots

Castlevania

Konami’s released a new batch of screens, art and renders for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.

They’re after the break.

The reboot, developed by Madrid-based studio Mercury Steam and overseen by Kojima Productions, is due for a release sometime this year for PS3 and 360.

We interviewed producer Dave Cox, recently. Find the full Q&A here.

After reading the vg247 interview last week my expectation for this dropped rapidly, unless they’re keeping quiet about ALOT of features there doesn’t seem to be much meat on them castlevanien bones

A chain from a cross? Really? Kojima please, do something!

On another note, Gabriel’s arm looks like War’s freak arm. The engine looks like Darksiders’.

they should’ve made a Castlevania rpg, kinda Simon’s Quest, instead of this PoP like bullshit.

Bargin bin buy at best. Maybe something down the road will change my mind, but I doubt it.

I would get excited for another SotN style game, so long as it was still 2D.
