THQ: Darksiders shipped 1.2M units its first four weeks

THQ announced in its Q3 financial release this evening that Darksiders shipped approximately 1.2 million units during its first four weeks.

It also revealed that the title had achieved a Metacritic rating of 83.

In addition, the press release stated that THQ will concentrate on the following titles for Q4 of its fiscal year 2010, which ends on March 31.

  • Darksiders
  • Metro 2033
  • Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II – Chaos Rising

THQ also announced the realignment of two of its development studios that will now focus on the creation of games for digital distribution.

be careful , next thing you know someone will post you something about regis fils-aimé randomly claiming that (wii) games need to sell more to be profitable .

And they’ll act as if most game of the genre , besides God of war 2 do better within their launch weeks
