German Warner website tags Arkham Asylum 2 for October [Update]
Update: Warner’s told us it’s not true.
Warner Bros. Interactive has given a tentative October 2010 release window for Batman: Arkham Asylum 2.
That’s according to a listing on the German version of the company’s website.
The game was revealed at the VGAs back in December, with a teaser trailer indicating Arkham was moved inside Gotham City itself.
Since then, other then Warner taking over as publisher from Eidos, nothing has been mentioned on the sequel, although a Game of the Year version of the original has been listed.

I really hope they don’t rush this or is a rehash of the first one. I mean devs should learn from RE5: DON’T COPY/PASTE!

This does seem alarmingly soon after the first one. Unless they were optimistic about AA1′s chances and well into development on the sequel before the first one hit the shops?
AA1 was delayed a couple of months – time to get a dev team up and running on the sequel?

i’d much prefer it if Gotham wasn’t the prison, just on lock down as there’s a crime wave, i think introducing civilians into the mix would be good, then you could have one of those cool moments when you bust through the wall to a startled family watching TV or a couple having sex

i think it’ll have to keep the ‘Arkham Asylum’ tag, so people will know its a related title
even modern war 2 kept the COD title
i know what the Japanese localization title should be…
