@ Syrok, there are in the state I am in unless it is a rural area. Most have sidewalks up and down the streets and are lit at night.

Every street except highways have Sidewalks… Also the US has like 100 times the land mass of you guys. Completely different infrastructure. Walking is not practical here unless you are live in the middle of a city. Such as myself and I do walk whenever possible.
