@distraet: So true. I wouldn’t have believed it on paper to be honest, but these competitions are great. Posting your comment and then hitting submit and waiting while the server buckles under the weight of submission, it’s actually quite thrilling. My heart was beating away every time

So many close calls in the earlier ones, but very glad I was able to snag PES. I love the shit out of PES and was absolutely going to buy it so it’s worked out very well

I assume it’s so hard for you guys just putting a deadline and asking ppl leave a comment, put the names on pieces of paper, put the pieces of paper in a vase, shake the goddamn vase, and draw names randomly! not only it’s more fun, thrilling and bone chilling it consumes hell a lot less of your precious bandwidth, and leaves everyone more happier. all of this might and I mean might take half an hour of your precious time but it will be F A I R!

@GwynbleiddiuM: I think everyone enjoys these competitions. The comments indicate that everyone’s having good banter. And it’s something a little different – everywhere does what you suggest, I don’t see how that’s more fun? And the server buckle is the best part, when you submit your comment and it’s churning away to reload and you’re hanging on your placing

Maybe it’s because I got one of them though – but I enjoyed the other ones where I didn’t as well.
