Future US president Jonathan Simpson-Bint will leave the company on August 31, the exec’s announced, to form his own company.

He said in an internal note that he believed now was the right time to end his 18 years with the firm.

“I’ve never made any secret of my desire to start my own business and — like a lot of people — I believe that the current economic climate is actually a great time to start a business,” he said.

Future is actively searching for his replacement, Simpson-Bint wrote.

In the interim, an executive team — led by CFO John Sutton — will manage the company’s day-to-day operations.

Jonathan Simpson-Bint – That has to be the greatest comedy real name since Benedict Cumberbatch.

I do agree with him though. Right now… pretty good time to start up a new business. The curve is about to turn upwards and a lot of the competition has fallen by the wayside.
