Rumor: Max Payne 3 details surface from July issue of Game Informer
Looks like the cover of Game Informer featuring Max Payne 3 is legitimate. We’ll keep it chalked as rumor for now, just to be safe.
Supposed details have already started surfacing from the July issue of the magazine.
Apparently, our hero is living in the skids of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and is addicted to pain pills which effect how the game is played.
Graphically the game is being compared to Uncharted 2 with “vibrant colors and fully destructible environments,” all thanks to Rockstar’s animation system and RAGE engine.
Urban battles in bad Latin American neighborhoods is expected, with plenty of weaponry and the return of Bullet Time.
Game will feature multiplayer, in addition.

i’d really like to see max taking on a few tough enemies and needing to use tactics and the environment to aide him rather than wave after wave or idiot ai dying to him

well max too fallen to the “big hulkin bald chap teens love to control since he’s big hulkin and bald” criteria. To sell more copies, of course. I reckon the first two didnt exactly storm the charts

max payne done very well in the charts but max payne 2′s delayed european release and short single player meant it got pirated to fuck and didn’t do so well

Loved 1 and 2, but not sure about what I’ve seen thus far….too much like Uncharted to be Max Payne. and i LIKED his haircut…this is too much like John McClain… I hope they re-invent the slo/mo (aka bullet time) feature in a kick ass way..
