Not really stunning. After last year nothing surprises anymore. The FF announcement caused news like this to loose it’s “wow” factor. Oh well, hopefully we will soon get to see what this game really is.

Good for X360 owners. Keep in mind, it was never announced as “exclusive” so hopefully this will be on PS3 as well.

This is good. It’s an all new direction and stand alone story and moves on from Solid Snake’s legacy. It really hurts the Kojima elitist who said he would never make a game for the XBox 360. I think this proves that fanboyism is only confined to the minds of petty children.

Prepare for something very different, i’m sure this wont be a stealth game but some sort of action game.

Anyway, er…. it’s hard to know what to think given the lack of information in that trailer. I like the ‘sneak in’ bit at the end of the trailer.

I’m worried about that. As I only have a 360 but love MGS, I want this to be more of the same, and “sneak in” implies that.
But the games before were metal gear solid “Tactical Espionage Action”
whereas this game is “Lightning Bolt Action”

I dont really see why Raiden being a super powered ninja would need to sneak around either really. Unless at some point in the game you play as him whilst he’s normal.

People seem to simply force themselves to forget MGS on PC and the buggy mess that was MGS 2 on the Xbox.

u know i never thought i would ever say this but after reading this crap ive honestly lost respect for kojima. the real metal gear fans are ps3 owner not xbox owners the only reason all these 360 queers wanted a metal gear game is so that they can throw it in our faces.substance on the xbox failed nobody cared for it. they know nothing bout metal gear solid and they probably never will beacuse 1,3, & 4 only came out on the playstation. this is worse then having the new halo game come out on the ps3 and not the 360. MGS5 must be coming tomorrow then…there’s simply no way Konami are going to turn on the PS3…we know there’s a PSP version coming.

They’ve invested so much in the PS3 engine to just turn away.
