Rumour: Sega US lays off 30 [Update]

Update – This has been confirmed.

IGN’s rumouring that Sega US has dropped 30 staff today. The news comes from an insider.

There’s no detail or official response as yet.

Sega hasn’t been having the easiest time of late, dropping 400 staff last year on the back of heavy losses.

While I feel for anyone losing thier jobs, Sega hasnt exactly been setting the world on fire lately.
Thery need to look at their development, and find titles that will get us excited…

All these companies with layoffs and console games are still $10 more than the PC version?
