Capcom pledges PSP support, rumours “100% false”

By Mike, Tuesday, 19 August 2008 13:02 GMT

Christian Svensson has hit out at suggestions that the firm will suspend development for Sony’s PSP handheld by saying the accusations are “100% false.”

“Absolutely 100% false,” said Svensson on the Capcom-unity blog.

“We’re still making new PSP games. We may be the most successful PSP publisher in the world with Monster Hunter Portable 2nd and 2ndG.

“It’d be a difficult decision to defend stopping development when we have such success on the platform.”

So there you go: myth busted, or something.

Thanks, GameGuru.
