Ubisoft’s announced a Clancy-brand air combat title called Tom Clancy’s HAWX, which stands for High Alititude Warfare X, apparently.
Developed by Ubi’s Bucharest studio, HAWX will let you fly more than 50 planes in a brave new world dominated by private military companies (PMCs).
In case you needed more acronyms, HAWX also features and Enhanced Reality System (ERS) which includes radars, incoming missile detection, an anti-crash system, damage control system, a tactical map, information relay, weapons trajectory control and allows players to give commands to their AI squadron.
The game will be released on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 this autumn and will support up to four player co-op and 16 players in multiplayer.
See a movie of it in action after the link.
