The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is real.
Nintendo has confirmed The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for Wii U. The release date is March 4 2016. Pre-orders have opened, and include the soundtrack as a bonus.
The long-rumoured (and leaked!) project was formally announced during today's Nintendo Direct. Nintendo briefly discussed the re-release's enhanced graphics, courtesy of port developer Tantalus.
The port is supported by a new Amiibo - Wolf Link. If you save data on Wolf Link playing Twilight Princess HD, it will be leveraged in the new The Legend of Zelda game for Wii U.
The RPG will be available in a console bundle with the new Amiibo.
