Capcom has announced the PC version of Street Fighter 5 will support Steam OS, and the Steam Controller. Steam OS is, of course, based on Linux, but Capcom did not specify if the open OS will also be supported.

Capcom said it's working closely with Valve on this, and promised to reveal more details soon.

As for the Steam Controller, the feature will be available to try during the upcoming beta test, which takes place December 18-20.

Street Fighter 5 is out February 16 on PC and PlayStation 4, and will support cross-platform play.
