Nintendo UK, US not planning launch of pink 3DS - details

Fancy getting a pink 3DS from the UK or US following this morning's formal announcement in Tokyo? It's not going to happen, at least for now.

The company has told VG247 it's currently not planning for any launches in either regions, with Nintendo UK telling us that it had "nothing to announce at this time."

A Nintendo of America rep added that it was "not aware" of any plans on bringing "a pink 3DS coming to the US," with the company instead opting to highlight the release of the Blaze Red colour that was released recently.

The Misty Pink 3DS will launch on October 20 in Japan. No price was confirmed at the company event in Japan this morning.
