New Halo game confirmed

Xbox head of Business, Don Mattrick, has confirmed to MTV that Bungie's new title is indeed a new Halo game.
No direct quote is given, strangely, but Mattrick did apparently say that this is not the Peter Jackson venture: so it's something completely new.
This is rather at odds with the decision that Microsoft took to postpone the announcement last night.
