Yep, Mighty No. 9 really looks like Mega Man in this new gameplay video

Mighty No. 9 developer Comcept has published fresh gameplay footage of its spiritual successor to Mega Man, and it really does look like a natural extension of Capcom's series. That's not a bad thing, by the way.
In the clip we see Beck tearing through an ice stage, dashing through enemies and gliding with his special skills, before tackling bosses No. 2 and No. 5.

As you can see, it's very similar to Mega Man in several ways, but that's understandable, seeing as Mighty No. 9 is Keiji Inafune's love letter to his series and its fans.
