Check out the default Devil May Cry 5 controls

In just a few days, gamescom 2018 attendees will be able to go hands on with Devil May Cry 5.

This is the first time Devil May Cry 5 will be playable by the public, and it's also the first time those of us not going to the show will be able to witness the first gameplay footage.

Considering how long ago the last Devil May Cry game was released, especially if you don't count DMC, fans are anxious to find out if Devil May Cry 5 will be making any changes to the default control scheme.

Thanks to Capcom, we now know what the default control bindings players will be using at gamescom next week are. The most recent recording of Capcom's Confidential podcast featured a printout of the controls, which you can see below.

This is most likely the same printout design that'll be seen next to the controller at Devil May Cry 5's various game stations at gamescom.

As you can see, it's identical to previous games. Y is the default melee button, with Devil Breaker mapped to B. Gun attack is bound to X, and finally A to jump. Your lock on button is RB, and that's about it. We're hoping there's going to be a taunt button, though.

The episode itself featured appearances by various developers working on Devil May Cry 5, including senior producer Michiteru Okabe, as well as other leads from 3D, and art. You can watch the whole thing at the link above.

Just like gamescom, PAX West attendees will also be able to play the game at the end of the month.

Devil May Cry 5 is out in spring 2019 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
